Noodles

And we worry about a little bit of food in our teeth? (Click on his nose!)

Phoenix

Back from Phoenix. The Saturday workshop on assessment relative to ABET accreditation was fine, but nothing spectacular. Jo spent the day with Bob & Jane Maas, friends formerly of Mankato who now winter in Mesa. Then on Sunday before our flight back to Minneapolis, we met up with them and spent some time in the Cave Creek area. It was great fun, but ... alas ... we had to return to Minnesota.

We spent Sunday night with Brian and LuAnn (my brother and his wife) in Minnetonka, as a winter storm made driving back to Mankato not advisable. Then this morning we stopped in and saw my parents for a bit. After arriving back home shortly after noon, I spent the rest of the day shoveling. Our GREAT neighbors had taken care of the driveway, but I still needed to do the patio and some edgework. And then a trip out to Heather & Mike's house in Eagle Lake for some more shoveling, since it has not yet sold.

Cold

It is finally getting cold. Just below zero last night and a nasty wind. Of course, there has not been any more snow, so I should not be complaining. Besides, I have a workshop in Phoenix all day tomorrow!

Joseph

Joseph asked me to add the duck.

Headin' West

Caitlyn left for Washington this afternoon, and she is now sitting at SEA-TAC waiting for the shuttlebus that will take her to Ellensburg. It looks like the pass will remain open, so she will not need to figure out some place to spend the night in Seattle. It has been great having her at home for a couple weeks.

In the beginning ...

The idea is that I shall post all kinds of interesting notes and photographs here throughout 2007. Then, when Christmas rolls around, I will send out a card, a photograph and ... no letter ... but just the link to this site.It all sounds great, eh? Well, we shall see.
